SEO analysis of website code

Improve SEO & boost site visibility with website code analysis.

Use of H1, H2, H3, etc. Tags

  • H1: Each page should have only one H1 tag, which is generally the page title. This should contain the main keyword or keyword phrase of the page. This information must be provided by the client. It is recommended to be between 20 and 70 characters long.

  • H2: These are subtitles and can be used multiple times on a page. They should contain relevant keywords, but they should vary from those used in the H1. Again, these keywords must be provided by the client. They are recommended to be between 8 and 10 words long.

  • H3 – H6: These are used for sub-subtitles and can also be used multiple times on a page. They should be consistent with the general theme of the page. They are recommended to be between 8 and 10 words long.

General Recommendations Use of H1, H2, H3, etc. Tags

  1. Use H1 to H6 tags to structure your content in a coherent and hierarchical manner. Do not skip levels (for example, from H2 to H4) unless absolutely necessary.

  2. Include relevant keywords in your tags, but avoid “keyword stuffing”. Do not use the same keywords in all H1, H2, H3, etc. tags.

  3. Make sure that the H1 to H6 tags are descriptive and relevant to the content they follow.

  4. Do not use bold or italic text instead of a heading tag. The use of header tags is an important SEO practice.

  5. Use the H1 tag to present the main idea of the content. The H2 and following tags should be used to present secondary ideas and details.
